Sports games in the sports education system

The article considers sports games as an essential component of the sports education system. Their role in the formation of physical and psychological qualities of students, as well as in fostering team spirit and leadership qualities is analyzed. Special attention is paid to the integration of sports games into educational programs, modern teaching methods and the use of gaming technologies in the training process. The necessity of a systematic approach to the teaching of sports games at all levels of sports training is substantiated.
