Methods for forming key competences of the digital economy in future construction technicians

The article outlines the challenges to the vocational education system related to the digitalization of the economy of the Russian Federation, significant changes in the industries within the framework of solving the problem of achieving «digital maturity». The legally established key competencies of the digital economy are noted. A professional educational organization graduate must have them in order to meet the requirements of the industry market labor. The successful experience of an educational organization in the formation of key competencies of the digital economy in future construction technicians with the participation of the employers’ association - the self-regulatory organization «Union of Construction Companies of the Urals and Siberia» - as part of solving the problem of implementing information modeling technologies, which is urgent for the construction industry, is presented. A meaningful approach to the formation of key competencies of the digital economy among students of professional educational organizations is described. It consists in updating (clarifying / expanding) the subject content of academic disciplines and (or) professional modules of the educational program. Instruments are proposed for assessing the results of the formation of key competencies in the digital economy.
