The article deals with the ways of the conceptualization of teachership based on the story “The first teacher” by Ch.T. Aitmatov. There are used some methods of the linguistic analysis: descriptive, conceptual and interpretative. The conceptualization of teachership is represented in the story both explicitly and implicitly on the basis of the revealed concepts of the pedagogical discourse: “teacher”, “schoolchild”, “school”, “teaching”, “knowledge”, “study” and “scientist”.
