Ways to improve the educational effectiveness of the environment in Chinese kindergartens

The environment is not only an important part of the daily life of a kindergarten but also a significant educational resource. The authors consider it as an “invisible curriculum” that enriches the kindergarten curriculum and as a synergistic force that contributes to the spiritual and physical development of young children. Teaching and developing young children occur in the environment, through the environment, relying on the environment, through immersion in it, through interaction with it, and gaining their own experience. In this article, the authors explore ways to enhance the educational effectiveness of the environment in Chinese kindergartens. Among them, the authors highlight: the use of the aesthetic environment in child-rearing, strengthening the connection between the kindergarten and parents, ensuring integrity, coherence, and unity of the internal and external environment, enhancing the scientific component of the environment, and others.
