The article tells that the management of the training process in volleyball sports teams often takes place against the background of conflict situations. In the training process and conditions of competitive activity, many aspirations of athletes in the team do not coincide, therefore it is impossible to achieve certain results for various reasons. This leads to the emergence of intrapersonal and interpersonal conflicts, where the multidirectional motives of the athlete and his teammates collide. There are many ways to resolve conflict situations in volleyball sports teams: creative visualization of the conflict (the parties are trying to determine the causes of the conflict arising in the team and prevent it); protection from communication difficulties in a sports team (it is necessary to spend time with teammates outside of training and competitive activities); solving a problem that arises during a conflict situation (try to find a compromise in the situation); coercion (usually the coach shows his point of view and explains the correctness of making a decision in a certain issue).
