Ways to create a language game in work of fiction (based on the Lev Davydychev's story "Hard, full of adversity and danger life of Ivan Semenov, second-grader and second-year student")

The article investigates the phenomenon of language play in an artwork. The material is the story of the Perm Soviet children's writer Lev Davydychev "The life of Ivan Semyonov, the second-grader and the repetiteur", in which the language game is one of the ways to create characters, provides ideological-thematic and aesthetic unity of the work, the object of the analysis is the ways of creating a language game, the classification of which is made in accordance with the levels of the Russian language system: phonetic, morphological, vocabulary, lexical and textual. The developed classification reflects the variety of ways to create a linguistic game and the breadth of its use. The author's attitude to identifiability is revealed: the language code of the work contains prototypic features (the imitative principle according to T. A. Gridina's classification), and it was determined that the character of the phenomenon under study is influenced by the peculiarities of the author's idiostyle. In the course of the research it was established that the analysis of the text from the linguistic point of view is not enough, so when considering the methods of creating a language game, the content of the text and the wide context of use were often taken into account. As a result of the work, the functions performed by the language game in the literary text were defined: creation of the stylistic effect generating a comic effect; characterization of the heroes of the work and the author narrator; performance of the structural forming function by the graphic language game. The research uses methods of component and contextual analysis to consider the cases of using the language game, its specifics, functions and purposes of use in the artwork; as well as the method of linguistic classification.
