Introduction. In the judoka’s training process, scientists and martial art specialists recommend using the potential of high-intensity interval training sessions. Discussions continue on the most effective forms and structural content of high-intensity interval training sessions in the practice of trained judoka. The objective is to evaluate the impact of two specific for judo highintensity interval training sessions on the level of special performance and competitive preparation of female judoka. Маterials and Methods. Qualified female athletes (n=22) participated in a 6-week learning-training practice, during which high-intensity interval training sessions were employed. Group 1 (n=11) used high-intensity interval training sessions with the ratio of load and rest intervals 20/1 sec, group 2 (n=11) — 30/10 sec respectively. Evaluation of indicators characterizing the level of special performance and competitive preparation of sportswomen was carried out via the following methods: Special Judo Fitness Test by S. Sterkowicz and Potential analysis system. Results and Discussion. The authors found reliable (p≤0.05) differences in results of Special Judo Fitness Test by S. Sterkowicz and Potential analysis system, in favor of women judokas who used high-intensity interval training sessions with the ratio of load and rest intervals (30/10 sec). Thus, it is possible to state the significant advantage of using this specific high interval training session in the process of preparation for competitive performances of female judo juniors. Conclusions. The results enable the authors to prove a more significant positive influence of the high-intensity interval training session specific for judo (characterized by the ratio of time intervals of load and rest — 30/10 sec) on the level of special working capacity and competitive proficiency of female judo juniors.
