Comparison of modern LMS platforms for distance learning

Online learning has become an essential part of the educational process thanks to modern technologies and the internet, providing access to knowledge regardless of location and time. This article analyzes modern Learning Management Systems (LMS), their key features, and their impact on the educational process. The platforms Moodle, Microsoft Teams, and Google Classroom are reviewed, each offering unique tools for content management, interaction, performance assessment, and personalized learning. Moodle stands out for its functionality, including SCORM package support for interactive simulations. Microsoft Teams is integrated into Office 365 and offers extensive communication and collaboration capabilities, while Google Classroom provides ease of use and integration with Google tools. Despite the advantages of LMS, such as flexibility and accessibility, they do not solve all problems, including the lack of practical application in education. Effective online learning requires a high level of pedagogical training and the application of principles such as scientific approach, consistency, motivation, and interaction.
