Comparative characteristics of the features of embryogenesis of broilers of ordinary crossbreeds with transovarial application of zinc citrate

A detailed study of embryogenesis and the possibility of its stimulation in poultry is an important task of modern poultry farming. To date, the literature available to us contains extensive data on the peculiarities of the course of embryogenesis in different bird species, but there are practically no comparative studies aimed at comparing the effect of biostimulants on the embryonic period in various broiler crosses. In this regard, a comparative analysis of the effect of zinc citrate on the embryogenesis of two broiler crosses common in Russia was carried out. The conducted studies have shown that a single transovarial application of zinc citrate in optimal concentration had an almost equivalent positive effect on the embryogenesis of both crosses, which indicates the possibility of its extensive use in meat farming and the prospects of obtaining deliberately planned incubation results.
