Comparative characteristics of the foreign experience on organizing dual vocational training for future teachers

The article describes the experience of Germany in organizing a dual system of vocational training, which involves practical training, either individual with a master or within a professional school, and theoretical component. Based on the retrospective analysis we have revealed the positive aspects of this form of training; identified the distinctive features of the dual vocational training programme in Germany, such as the developed system of vocational guidance during school education, legal and regulatory support for the dual system, well-thought-out interaction of educational organizations and enterprises, development of continuous educational programs. Particular emphasis is placed on organization of interaction with a potential employer, his involvement in development of testing and assessment materials and independent evaluation of the quality of vocational training graduates.
