The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of treatment with insectoacaricidal preparations in two experimental groups. The results of the study showed that the treatment regimen used in the first experimental group of cats (Fiprist Spot On and Surolan) was more effective than in the second. The intensity of invasion by Otodectes cynotis mites on the 7th day of treatment was 0, while in the second experimental group it was 1.5±0.2 specimens. Also, during bacteriological and mycological examination of the ear exudate of cats on the 11th day, no bacteria or fungus were found in the first experimental group, while in the second group, single Malassezia pachydermatis were present in two cats.
