Comparative evaluation of two methods of anesthesia in planned ovariohysterectomy in cats

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the results of the action of two types of anesthesia during routine operations for cats lasting up to 20 minutes. It is effective to perform potentiated anesthesia (0.1 % meditin solution 20 mg/kg and 1 % propofol solution 6 mg/kg), while achieving a good analgesic and anesthetic effect. In the future, it does not require observation of the animal. With long-term surgery, a good effect is obtained from a combination of potentiated anesthesia and epidural anesthesia. Both types of anesthesia do not significantly affect blood parameters and do not cause organ function disorders.
