The author examines the relationship between the level of conflict orientation and the way teenagers resolve conflict situations. The results of the work carried out are presented, which showed the influence of attitudes on the actions chosen by teenagers who are faced with conflicts. To compare the levels of attitudes, we used five conflict resolution strategies (according to the method of K. Thomas and R. Kilmenn). The methods used in the study of this influence: The «Behavior Description Test» by K. Thomas (adaptation by N.V. Grishina) to identify behavioral strategies, and the «Methodology for studying conflict attitudes» by B.I. Hassan to determine the level of conflict attitudes. The results showed that adolescent children with a low level of conflict orientation are more likely to choose avoidance (65.6%) and adaptation (18.8%), compromise (53.8%) and cooperation (34.7%) at an average level, and rivalry (68.2%) at a high level. Statistical analysis (U-Mann-Whitney criterion) confirmed the validity of the differences between the groups.
