Modern society is constantly facing challenges in maintaining public health, which makes physical fitness systems an important tool for disease prevention and improving the quality of life. The ARPCSC RLD complex (the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense”) is a unique Russian initiative aimed at stimulating physical activity among various age groups. At the same time, there are many similar programs in the world, each of which has its own characteristics and experience that can be useful for adaptation in Russia. A comparative analysis of Russian and foreign systems makes it possible to identify their strengths and weaknesses, which is especially important in the context of finding ways to improve the RLD (GTO).
