Comparative study of the sorption properties containing modernite tuff and expanded vermiculite

Бесплатный доступ

A comparative study of the sorption properties of zeolite tuff and exfoliated vermiculite in relation to ions Cu 2+, Zn 2+, Cd 2+, Pb 2+ is conducted. It is found that both sorbents show selectivity to less hydrated ions. Capacity of expanded vermiculite is higher than tuff capacity. Sorption isotherms are described by the Freundlich equation. Speed of sorption of ions of metals on both sorbents proceeds on the mixed mechanism.
