The huge base of plant materials in the Russian Federation requires constant development, processing and rational use. One of the profitable and potentially significant areas for solving these problems is the industrial production of food and animal feed, which can satisfy the needs of the population and the livestock sector. The most important criterion for such products is the amino acid composition. Particular attention in the development of feed composition is given to limiting amino acids deficient in different animal species. One of the most accurate methods for identifying the amino acid composition is high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis. In this work, the object of the study was sunflower seeds of different varieties and years of cultivation. We determined their amino acid composition, mass fraction of protein, and huskiness.
