Contrastive analysis of realia’s translation in the book of E. Hemingway “a moveable feast”

The article is dedicated to the problem of translating realia from English into Russian in literary texts through the example of E. Hemingway’s book “A Moveable Feast”. The author defines terms “worldview” and “realia”. The comparison of translations of the novel made by M. Bruk, L. Petrova and Ph. Rosental (1966) and by V. Golyshev (2012) is given in the article. While analyzing the novel’s original text and its translations, and also E. Hemingway’s essays it is concluded that E. Hemingway focused on transferring of cultural realia, and translators took this fact into consideration and made an appropriate translation
