Comparative analysis of memory indicators of modern students and students of 1970-80th

The problem of reduction of mnemonic abilities of today's students compared with students of 70-80th years of XX century, due to the popularization of the Internet resources. The article Describes replication of memory studies of M.M. Garifullina «Mental and physiological characteristics of students» (1977) and partial repetition studies of Y.I. Petrov, «The development of psycho-physiological functions of adults» (1972). Despite a number of difficulties encountered in the replication study of students' memory, obtained reconstruction is comparable with the results of previous period. In particular, the performance of memory of modern students lower than the same of students of 70-80th XX century. Modern students have lower ability to memorize short-term memory performance of auditory and visual modalities, logical memory parameters.
