The purpose of our research is to comparatively analyze the transition of IMIT students in the direction of "pedagogical education" and the direction of "applied mathematics and informatics" of Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU) to distance learning in physical culture in the second period (November-December 2020), when PetrSU again switches to distance learning. operating mode in accordance with the order of the rector of PetrSU on the basis of the order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The task of the research is to find methods and techniques for organizing physical culture classes in these conditions, and it is also necessary to outline ways to solve the arising difficulties and develop recommendations for the further use of DOT.
