Mass media in civilization and culture: pecularities of research methodology

The author suggests that the phenomenon of mass media prevailing over other stimuli of social relations development becomes an important condition of civilization development. On the other hand, the author considers that this process is a threat to civilization. To study this contradiction the author examines it through sociocultural relations by means of synthesis of interactive and phenomenological approaches.
