Means of the description of housing environment in the modern British novel and their function in the plotline dynamics

The article deals with the analysis of the most significant language means of lexical, lexico-phraseological and syntactical and stylistic levels in the descriptive fragments of the novel “Coming Home” by the modern British writer - Rosamunde Pilcher. The analysis is conducted in the context of the dynamics of its plotline.
