Terms and volume of operative intervention in polytrauma

Study results of adaptation reaction dynamics in patients having polytrauma in dependence on time and volume of operative intervention are presented in the article. Treatment results of 72 patients with polytrauma being in acute and early periods of traumatic disease were included in the study. The study data received showed that several adaptation reactions are observed in admission but later, these reactions change not uniformly and depend on treatment strategy selected. The results confirm the expediency of performing surgeries in the full volume during the first 6 hours from the admission.
