Stability of the properties of the B. abortus 82-TR during passages through the body of guinea pigs

The aim of our research was to study the stability of the 82-Tr strain (a tetracycline-resistant variant of the B. abortus-82 strain) during its successive passages through the body of guinea pigs. Identical results were obtained in the process of studying the original and 10-fold passaged through the body of guinea pigs of culture and strain B. abortus 82-Tr. There was a strict regularity in qualitative indicators, and in quantitative terms, the indicators of serological reactions in strain 82-Tr differed in different periods of their slaughter. Positive indicators in the agglutination test on glass with S- and R-antisera were observed in all cultures. passages The basis for considering the 82-Tr strain as stable is provided by the experiments and their results.
