Hospital-replacing technologies in the system of social services for citizens suffering from mental illness

Persons suffering from mental illness should be included in the social service system. When social work technology is implemented, it has sufficient potential to impact this group of population, and is able to optimize their lives. At the same time, an urgent task at the present stage is the ability to cover this population group with hospital-replacing technologies, which can significantly improve the quality of life of those suffering from mental illness. The article provides an analysis of hospital-replacing technologies of social work, which are used in social services for persons suffering from mental illness. Conclusion is made that hospital-replacing technologies are very diverse, but not all are equally applicable in work with this category of the population. At the same time, they make it possible for this category of citizens to overcome social isolation and disintegration.
