The formation of the history of pedagogics as a science and educational subject in the Soviet pedagogical science of the pre-war period

The article deals with the formation of the history of pedagogics as a science and educational subject in the Soviet period of development of national education. This problem became debatable from the moment of restoration in the rights of pedagogics in the Resolution «Оn pedological perversions in the system of Narkompros» (1936). The history of pedagogy was also seen as an ideologically important discipline. As a result, there was a need for its theoretical and methodological justification. This article provides an analytical overview of the discussion that unfolded on the pages of the journal «Soviet pedagogics» in the pre-war period.
