The formation of the poetics of the visual in ontological poetry at the turn of the 19th century (A.N. Muravyov - G.R. Derzhavin - A.A. Volkova)

The topicality of the issue in question is associated with the need to identify the tradition and innovation of Russian poetry at the turn of the 19th century in the aspect of visualizing an artistic image. The novelty of the research is seen in the expansion of concepts about the poetics of the visual through analyzing the concept of the artistic worldview, not only of the key figures of the historical and literary process, but also of the heirs to G.R. Derzhavin’s poetic style of understudied poets (M.N. Muravyov, A.A. Volkova), whose best poems are significant in the historical and literary process. The analysis of visual metaphors in the poetry of G.R. Derzhavin, M.N. Muravyov, A.A. Volkova proved that in Russian poetry at the turn of the 19th century, a peculiar manner of vision took shape, associated with the perception of the contemplated world as a picture, and, as a result, a new aesthetic vector of self-knowledge and knowledge of the world through glance took shape, the diversity and greatness of God’s world is emphasized in visual representations, it is through them that the causal relationship of the phenomena of reality is comprehended. The article reconstructs the features of the artistic thinking of poets at the turn of the 19th century, identifies certain ways to create a visual verbal image based on transforming the visually perceived world into a verbal form. Consideration of the genesis of the poetics of the visible, associated with the creation of an allegorically presented worldview, allows us to describe with high accuracy the most vivid methods of representing visual images, to present an effective pattern for analyzing landscape ecphrasis in the works of Russian poets.
