The formation of the system of artistic education and its role in the development of personality

The relevance of studying issues related to the formation of artistic education as a direction of education in the historical perspective, identifying its role in the process of personality development is substantiated. The views of researchers on the problem of artistic education of the younger generations are presented. The stages of organization of artistic education are singled out as an important factor in ensuring the timeliness of the introduction of a growing person into artistic culture and preparation for the independent development of artistic values.
