Formation of artistic and pedagogic competence of primary school teacher in higher education institution

The article develops academic and methodological fundamentals of formation of artistic and pedagogic competence of a primary school teacher in a higher education institution. The author defines the essence of artistic and pedagogic competence, offers the methods of diagnostics of its structural components, and explains 189 the parameters and indexes of their evaluation. A particular attention is paid to students to master the techniques to create an artistic image and the system of their application during the process of a pupil's artistic and creative development.
