Old believers of the Klin district Moscow province in the XIX century

The article shows some aspects of the life of the Old Believers in the territory of the Klin district, Moscow province in the XIX century. The article is based of archival materials, because the literature on the subject of the article is negligible. The article shows а brief statistical overview of the number and distribution of the Old Believers within townships and villages of the Klin district; the article shows main branch of the Old Believers of the Klin district. The economic life of the Old Believers (the development of local manufacture production), spiritual life and religious upbringing of the younger generation in a Old Believers environment of the Klin district is overviewed on the basis of archival materials. The author shows the relationship of the local community of Old Believers with the Moscow Preobrazhenskaja community - the famous center of the «bespopovtsy» branch of the Old Believers.
