Article 5 of the criminal procedure code of the RF: system or random set of terms

In the article, the authors, taking into account historical analysis and studying the points of view of experts in procedural law, consider the issues of validity, elaboration and expediency of the set of concepts provided for in Art. 5 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation and come to the conclusion about its existing unsystematic content; they propose directions for improvement, as well as some changes and additions that contribute to the creation of an integral system of basic concepts used in criminal procedure legislation.
