The status of public authorities of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation

The purpose of the work is to study the status of public authorities and management in the constituent entities of the Federation, regulated by legal norms at the federal level. The relevance of the study is determined by significant legislative innovations, bearing in mind the constitutional amendments of 2020 and the entry into force of the new Federal Law “On the general principles of the organization of public power in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation” (2021), the content of which is emphasized in the article. Methods of analysis, synthesis, logic, and objectivism were used. It is concluded that, in general, the federal legislator more strictly unifies the organizational and legal structure of public authority in the Russian regions.
