Introducing students to the world of philosophy and culture is difficult in modern domestic universities focused on highly specialized disciplines. The purpose of this work is to describe the possibilities of using versification in philosophy classes at the university. The authors use the poetic genre of pirozhkov, which is popular today in the Russian Internet community. Its development does not require much time and is perceived by students as a fun and interesting activity. At the same time, this technique contributes to the formation of all the skills called flexible and in demand today in teaching (creativity, communication, cooperation, associative and critical thinking). The main method of research was the description of the experience of using the above-mentioned method in philosophy classes at a pedagogical university. The analysis of the possibilities of this technique for the formation of communicative, creative, cooperative competence and associative and critical thinking was also used. Examples of poems in the Internet genre of pies are given, topics are described when it is possible to use such a method. As a result, through versification, the student learns to see the world with his own eyes, to think critically, to be aware of his position, to select arguments and facts, to find logic in reasoning. A sense of humor is also important here, causing positive emotions and contributing to the assimilation of the material. The philosophical material itself is better suited than anything for the formation of spiritual humanistic values necessary for any professional. The use of this technique is not without some drawbacks, which include the reluctance of some students to participate in the task due to the fear that nothing will work out; the inability to complete the task in the absence of understanding of the material; creativity is always more difficult than the action according to a template.
