Stylistic neutralization of the speech characteristics of characters (on the example of Russian translations of Stephen King's novel "Dark half")

The article considers examples of stylistic neutralization of speech characteristics of characters in the novel «The Dark Half» by Stephen king in various translations into Russian. The results of quantitative and comparative analysis of translation options are presented to establish the most effective translation methodology.
