Stylistics of the first Russian comic operas

The article is devoted to studying stylistics of the first Russian comic operas. The main problem of the article is highlighting the special features of the comic opera characters' language. The article also deals with the functioning of this aspect in the formation of the Russian comic operas on the one hand and the development of the realistic trends in literature on the other. The author of the article gives the analysis of the characters' language. Moreover the article singles out the problems that the dramatist dealt with.
