Gender asymmetry in government can be regarded as one of the obstacles to making and implementing balanced management decisions. This opinion is becoming increasingly widespread in the scientific and managerial environment. More women in government bodies contribute to the expansion of the range of problems to be solved which is supplemented by family planning, child care, parenting adolescents, domestic violence and others. This makes state and municipal authorities refocus on social issues. The study demonstrates the theoretical and practical relevance of gender equality in government bodies. To ensure the appropriate environment for this process, the government should follow the principles of system, subjectivity, self-fulfillment, alternativeness, the unity of objective conditions and subjective factors, priorities, competitiveness, upward selection, evolutionary development, and gender equality interval. Disregarding these principles leads to mistakes in gender regulations in government bodies. These are the errors of the occasional nature, semantic substitution, administration, gender corporatism, lack of alternative, false reduction, inversion, latent segregation, downward selection, voluntarism, and formalism.
