Repertoire policy formation strategy of the P.I. Smirnov Bayan Orchestra

The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the repertoire policy strategy implemented by the P.I. Smirnov Bayan Orchestra, a unique entity in the contemporary musical culture of St. Petersburg. Central place is paid to three key aspects: the artistic value of the performed works, their pedagogical significance for musicians of different skill levels, and their social-cultural impact on audiences.
