Strategy for countering extremism in the Russian Federation: Criminological analysis and problems of legal designing

The article substantiates the reasons for the systematic implementation of state policy in the field of counteracting extremism in the Russian Federation. Criminological aspects of strategic planning of impact on extremist manifestations are demonstrated. The structure of the Strategy for Counteracting Extremism is presented, which only partially reflects modern requirements for the designing and legal filling of strategic planning documents. Critical shortcomings of structural elements are noted. The absence of criteria and methods for assessing the results of its implementation is indicated as a significant disadvantage of the legal architecture of the document. A conclusion about the presence of certain organizational, legal and scientific-theoretical reserves for optimizing this strategic planning document is made.
