In the prospective study we included 74 women whose gestation course was not complicated by preeclampsia, 53 pregnant women with moderate preeclampsia, 3 patients with serious preeclampsia; we analyzed the particularities of gestation course and outcomes of labor. Preeclampsia during pregnancy is associated with the threat of miscarriage, sub - and decompensated placental insufficiency and syndrome of fetal growth retardation, pyelonephritis, hepatocellular dysfunction, the occurrence is higher in serious preeclampsia. Preeclampsia, of severe form in particular, increases the rate of cesarean operations and the volume of blood loss in labor. Serious preeclampsia is associated with premature labors, acute fetal hypoxia, perinatal mortality, low statural-weight values of newborn infants and complicated course of neonatal period. The revealed correlative relationships between the above mentioned obstetric complications show the similar mechanisms of their development. According to the results of our study the pregnant women with genital infection are in the risk group of preeclampsia development in the 1 st trimester of gestation, the pregnant women with the threat of miscarriage, subcompensated placental insufficiency have the risk of preeclampsia development in the 2 nd trimester of gestation.
