Structure and mechanical properties of complexes consisting of carbon nanotubes adsorbed on their outer surface small content of fluorine atoms are studied by methods of quantum-chemical modeling. Possibility of fluorine ordered chain structures that arise in the final stages of fluorination of carbon nanotubes is discussed.
