The article presents a model of a student's professional competence, which naturally binds the professional and personal aspects of future teachers' training in conditions of a pedagogical university. A significant component of professional competence, reflecting its contents, lies in knowledge, abilities, skills of the student, their personal experience, goals, values, revealing the quality communications and relationships in their dynamics in the formation of students' system of values as the basis of their professional competence.
