A student as an actor of conflicts: some applicable conclusions of the analysis of students’ self-reflection

The article presents the data of the sociological survey on challenges in the higher education sphere involving students of the South of Russia. The following aspects have been touched upon in the survey: quality of education, Unified State Exam, corruption, conflicts. Basing on the analysis of answers to a number of questions in the questionnaire, the author has drawn up a picture of student audience. Some guidelines on application of the research results for more efficient management of higher education are suggested.
