Student-centered learning approach to teaching foreign languages to graduate students in a technical university

The article deals with the importance of the student-centered learning approach in teaching foreign languages to graduates of a technical university and states the principles of this approach. The student-centered learning helps overcome such challenges as a lack of class hours allotted to studying foreign languages in the master's degree program, different level of language knowledge, age and work experience of graduates. The student-centered approach contributes to the enhancement of students' motivation and academic performance.
