Subjective assessment of acute and chronic psychotrauma among the students: implications for intervention

Бесплатный доступ

The factors that influence on the subjective assessment of acute and chronic psychotrauma among the students have been investigated. Subjective evaluation of acute psychotrauma is highly dependent on personality characteristics (rigidity, emotional lability, impulsivity, low frustration tolerance, maladaptive coping behavior). Acute psychological trauma does not reduce adaptation and has little effect on addiction and affective symptoms. Chronic psychological trauma is little influenced by personality characteristics when assessing their severity, they reduce the adaptation and are an important factor in formation of addictive and affective disorders.
