The fate of D. P. Golitsyn (Muravlin) in emigration

The article is devoted to the activities of a prominent representative of the right-monarchist movement, one of the leaders of the “Russian Assembly”, a member of the State Council (right group) Dmitry Petrovich Golitsyn (Muravlin) (1860- 1928). The article notes that the politician, poet and publicist, living in Hungary, was a representative of the Supreme Monarchical Council in this country, supported Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich as a contender for the imperial throne, but by the mid-1920s he retired from politics, focusing on writing poems and articles. D. P. Golitsyn (Muravlin) was actively published in the monarchical magazine “Double-headed Eagle”, which was edited by a well-known figure of the Black Hundred movement, in the past - a member of the State Duma (right faction) N. E. Markov. In his articles, criticizing the Bolsheviks, he expressed hope for the revival of the monarchy in Russia, wrote about the need to preserve the inviolability of Orthodoxy and hope in the mercy of God.
