Judicial control at the stage of preliminary investigation as a guarantee of the right of citizens to judicial protection in the Russian criminal process

This article discusses the features of judicial control over the conduct of investigative actions at the stage of preliminary investigation as a guarantee of the right of citizens to judicial protection. Based on the analysis of domestic legislation, the concept and features of judicial control over the conduct of investigative actions at the stage of preliminary investigation are revealed. Judicial control over the conduct of investigative actions at the stage of preliminary investigation is carried out not only for the purpose of determining the legality, fairness, objectivity, expediency of the investigative actions carried out or planned by the authorized bodies.
