Suicidal behavior of young men and women who have had alcoholic psychosis

The interrelationship between suicidal activity and alcohol abuse is currently of no doubt. According to local research 60 % of suicide completers and about 40 % of suicide attempters had alcohol abuse. The paper shows the main features of suicidal behavior of young men and women who have had alcoholic psychosis. It was concluded that it is necessary to identify actively suicidal behavior among patients with substance abuse profile, especially with prior suicide attempts.
