The goal of this work was to investigate probability of development, period of occurrence and prediction of possible suicides among workers of locomotive crews at Trans-Baikal Railway. From 2008 to 2013, regular observations of respondents have revealed 22 cases of committed suicides, which were estimated among volume of data collected for 7 959 persons (workers of locomotive crews) by methods of statistical analysis. Predictors of suicide were identified: age factor in inverse relationship to its relative risk. Combination of age predictor and stress as a risk factor correlates with increasing suicide probability. By using survival analysis probability of occurrence and period of suicide occurrence in different age periods were revealed; methods of psychophysiological and laboratory prediction of this outcome were proposed.
