Essence and objectives of state control in the Russian Federation

The article discusses the features of state control as a legal and political phenomenon. The author analyzes the features of differentiation of the concepts of control and supervision, the legal nature of these phenomena. The article contains a critical analysis of the main goals of state control, as well as a comparison of state control with other types of control existing in modern legal realities from the standpoint of efficiency and prevalence.
