The essence and forms of manifestation of aggressive behavior in the Internet: sociological aspect

The article reveals the features of studying the manifestation of aggressive behavior in the Inter-net. The relevance of this topic is due to the active spread of new digital technologies and the creation of conditions not only for successful integration into a single information space, but also the emergence of new risks and threats to the personal safety of interaction participants, the emergence and development of new forms of aggressive behavior and the escalation of conflict behavior that implements destructive consequences. The author identifies the main theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the problem in modern scientific knowledge. At the same time, the emphasis is on the methodological capabilities of sociology in the study of the features of such aggressive forms of behavior as trolling, flaming, cyberbullying, cyber security, astroturfing, hating and a number of others. The article reveals the features of the role structure of the participants in the conflict interaction. The obtained scientific conclusions are substantiated by the results of specific sociological studies.
