The article discusses definition of mesoeconomy, subject and object of the research.The grocery unity as a mesoeconomic sign characterizes subject specialization ofthe organizations and enterprises group. It allows carrying it to a class of grocerymesoeconomic subjects. It describes types of mesoeconomic subjects on the basis of anorganizational community of economic subsystems. The employment of a territorialidentity sign is important to allocate mesoeconomic subjects for the purpose ofdefinition of their functioning specifics.
